Tony L. Callihan, 65 of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Saturday, February 16, 1952 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Green Jr. & Rena Vae Fields Callahan. He worked in the coal mining industry and enjoyed racing, as well as other motorsports. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son; Tony Lynn Callihan, & three brothers; Bobby Van Callihan, Bruce Callihan, & Ira Callahan. Survivors include son; Timmy A. Callahan of Lancaster, brothers; Bill (Loretta) York, of Connersville, Indiana, Jimmy (Angie) Callihan of Cartersville, Russel (Donna) Callahan of Richmond, Wayne Akemon (Debbie) Callahan of Irvine, sisters; Vina Callahan of Irvine, & Letshia Callahan (Raymond Biggs) of Richmond. Memorial service & burial will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Paint Lick Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Estes officiating. Tony's wishes for cremation have been honored.
