Willene Clark Ross, 90 of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in Lancaster. Born Sunday, November 11, 1928 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Clark & Ada Elizabeth Bourne Clark. Willene was a former employee for Cowden Manufacturing for 34 years, enjoyed sewing & crafts, & was a regular at Smith's Restaurant and McDonalds. She was a fan of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball, as well as the Cincinnati Reds, & was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Ross. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley (Larry) Dukes, of Frankfort; one granddaughter, Lea Ann Robinson & several step-grandchildren, & step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Willene will be 2:00PM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Estes officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Dukes, Ressie Dukes, Christopher Dukes, Michelle Dukes, Holly Prather & Nathan Prather. Honorary bearers will be Ricky Burkhart, Jerry Anderson, & Bobby Dailey.
