William Erwin Brickey, 64 of Lancaster, KY, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late William Virgil Brickey, and Geneva Ellen Bryant Brickey of Lancaster, and was born on Monday, December 5, 1949 in Boyle County, Kentucky. William was an electrician and plumber, an employee at Garrard Hardware, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of Lancaster Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Along with his father, William is preceded in death by a son, William Andrew Brickey, and a daughter, Melissa Donette Brickey. Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Sheila Gail Harrison Brickey, two daughters, Tina (Brian) Dailey of Lancaster, and Shannon (Bertin) Ruiz, of Danville Kentucky, three brothers, Virgil Dean Brickey, Goble Brickey, and Alvin Brickey, all of Lancaster, seven sisters, Wanda Anderson, Carol Key, Roberta Adams, Vyone Scott, Patricia Johnson, Margaret Ann Whitson all of Lancaster, and Geneva Boyd, of Danville, and two grand children, Selena Brickey, and Juan Rodriguez. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 29, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Hodge, burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Harrison, Gary Coffman, Dwight Coffman, Bobby Dale Johnson, Josh Adams, and Robin Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Turner, Cody Coffman, Nathan Hicks, Austin Thompson, Mike Murphy, Billy Joe Rigsby, Paul Rigsby, Jimmy Walton, Steve Young, Roy Davis Jr. Visitation will be 5-8:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home.
