Yvette Gay Padgett, 56 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at her home. Born Tuesday, August 21, 1962 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of Jean Adams Price & the late Joe Murphy. Yvette was a member of Dix River Pentecostal Church. In addition to her father , she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Freeman "Bud" Adams. Survivors include her mother, Jean Price Adams, sons; Bobby Joe Padgett of Stanford & Charles Dexter (Ashlee) Padgett of Lancaster, brother; Rodney (Tina) Murphy of Lancaster, sister; Danita Murphy Messer , of Waynesburg, nine grandchildren; Xavian, Jakobi, Payton, Harley, Charles, Nash & Neveah Padgett & Landin & Serenity Rayens. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday, August 16, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Bryant officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery.
