Alberta Caudill

Alberta Sparks Caudill, 85, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born Tuesday, September 17, 1935 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Virgil & Lucretia Helton Sparks. Alberta worked at Cowden’s for many years, was a farmer and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting & basket weaving. She was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Caudill, & one grandchild.

Survivors include sons, Kenneth (Phyllis) Caudill, of Lexington, Jimmy Keith Caudill, of Jamestown; step-son, Billy Caudill, of Lancaster, four grandchildren, & multiple great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 23, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Everett Priddy officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time on Friday, July 23, 2021. Honorary pallbearers include J.K. Simpson, David White, Carolyn Rankin, Willis Sparks & Brian Hamner.
