Ann W. Ball

Ann W. Ball, 95 of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at her home. Born on Friday, August 22, 1930 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late James I. & Ida Mae Bourne Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dunn Ball, and a sister, Judith Watkins Wyler.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeannie (Wayne) Hale, of Lancaster; sister, Virginia Watkins May, of Lancaster, a niece and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Russell Watkins officiating, and burial following in the Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Woodie Leavell, Stan Todd, Sam Watkins, Eric May, Travis May, and Sammy Young. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann’s memory may go to Heritage Hospice.
