Barbara J. Hinds

Barbara Hinds, 76, of Lancaster, went to be with Jesus on September 13, 2025 with her loving husband and three daughters by her side. Barbara was born  April 15, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank & Marie Blyskal. She was a wonderful homemaker of Christian faith and a fabulous mother. She was loved by all who met her. She loved playing Scrabble and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Scott’s Fork Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beautiful daughter, Bridget Hinds Napier, a grandchild, Kristopher Ernie-Lee Singleton, as well as five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ernie Hinds, three daughters, Barbie (David) Thacker, Becky Singleton (Greg), Beth (Kurt) Lear, 11 grandchildren, Kala (Justin) Baker, Stacy Thacker, Ryan, Kenton, & Erin Napier, Garrett, Kacy, Gabriel & Grayson Singleton, Emelia (Matthew) Woody and Nathaniel Lear . She also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren, Kiley, Kindyl & Emmitt Baker, Rylan Napier, Jude, Karlee and Waylon Singleton, Lane Woody & Violet Dishon. Private services were held at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Ryan, Kenton Napier, Garrett, Gabriel & Grayson Singleton, Nathaniel Lear and Emmitt Baker. Honorary pallbearers were Kala Baker, Stacy Thacker, Emelia Woody, David Thacker, Matthew Woody & Kurt Lear.  Ramsey-Young Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
