Becky Lee (Hinds) Singleton

Becky Lee Hinds Singleton, 50, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on December 21, 1974, she was a daughter of Ernie Lee Hinds of Lancaster, and the late Barbara J. Blyskal Hinds. Becky was very active in her church — Higher Praise Ministries, in Mt. Vernon, helping with the food truck ministry, and jail ministry. She also enjoyed playing, and watching sports, including softball, volleyball, and especially basketball. She liked to hike, and be outdoors, and loved talking and fellowship. Most of all, she loved her family and grandchildren, and was known to be the kind of  person that would give the shirt off of her back to someone in need. In addition to her mother Barbara, she was preceded in death by a son, Kristopher Ernie-Lee Singleton, and a sister, Bridget Napier.

Survivors other than her father Ernie Lee include her sons, Garrett Edward Lee (Kieley Matheny) Singleton, of Nicholasville, Gabriel Alexander Blake (Paige Smith) Singleton, of Louisville, Grayson Michael Travis Singleton, of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Kacy-Rae Suzanne Singleton, of Lexington; sisters, Barbie (David) Thacker & Beth (Kurt) Lear, both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Violet Elaine Dishon, Jude Edward Singleton, Karlee Alexandria-Jade Singleton, Waylon Alexander Ray Singleton, and her life partner Greg Pelfrey.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Davidson & Bro. Odis Clark officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kenton Napier, Nathaniel Lear, Ryan Napier, David Thacker, Justin Baker, and Emmitt Baker. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the funeral home.
