Betty Jo Burge

Betty Jo Burge, 86 of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 19, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Ted & Florence Montgomery Estes. Betty was a member of Grace Baptist Church, in Danville. She was a former accountant, and when she was able, loved to serve her church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Griffin; brothers, Bobbie & Gordon Estes; sisters, Doris & Rosalee Estes.

Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years, Dave M. Burge of Lancaster; daughters, Judith McKinney of Indiana; sister, Wanda Hale of Lancaster; grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Mabry & Shereé Nicole Bargo; great-grandchildren, James Allen Mabry, Chase Lee Mabry, Brooklynn Nicole Mabry, Larissa Nicole Mabry, Lynnsey Cheyanne Mabry, Layla Faith Mabry, Hank Benjamin Mabry all of Indiana, as well as several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Todd Niebert officiating, and burial following at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Sam Wall, Mark Medley, Mark Henson, Billy McCormick, Rex Bartley, and Rick Birchum.
