Bobby Napier

Bobby Napier, 57, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Born on February 4, 1969, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Harry & Irene Swinney Napier. Bobby worked in concrete, and was an auto mechanic. He enjoyed his firearms and American muscle cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph James “Peanut” Napier.

Survivors include his sons, Brandon (Brittney Pace) Napier of Paint Lick, and Shawn Napier of Richmond; daughter, Missy (Michael Needham) Napier of Richmond; brother, Frankie Napier of Richmond; sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Hopkins and Linda Napier both of Lancaster, Betty (Charles) Harrison of South Carolina; grandchildren, Bentley, Bryson, and Brookelyn Elizabeth Napier, and Elias, Kaenan and Garrett Needham.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM—12:00 Noon on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Ramsey Cemetery, with Bro. Steve Robinson officiating. Pallbearers include Brandon Napier, Cody Harrison, Steven Robinson, Dustin Berryman, Dalton Hatton and Shawn Napier. Honorary pallbearers include Larry Hopkins & Frankie Napier.
