Robert Hale Pollard, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 VA Medical Center in Lexington. Born February 9, 1948 in Stanford, he was a son the of the late Robert Denny Pollard & Geneva Saylor Pollard. Bobby was retired from IBM/Lexmark and also served as a postal carrier for several years. He was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene, an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of Dix River Country Club, where he was an avid golfer and a diehard UK fan.
Bobby is survived by a son , Scott Pollard, of Lancaster, a daughter, Sarah (Matthew) Hoskins of Somerset, and his beloved dog, Sissy.
His wishes for cremation have been honored at this time. A public graveside service with military rites will take place 12:30 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, with Rev.
