Bobby Ray

Bobby Gene Ray, 82, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on May 1, 2021. Born July 17, 1938 in Garrard County, Bobby was a son of the late Holman & Nannie Walton Ray.  He had been a farmer , enjoyed going to the Garrard County Senior Citizens Center and was a lifelong member of Antioch Christian Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwight Ray and infant, Eath Edward Ray, and a niece, the late Glenda Amon.

His survivors include his brother, Danny (Amy) Ray of Lancaster, aunt and uncle, Brooks and Albert Gaffney of Lancaster, nieces, Teresa Harness of Lancaster, Sandy Crandall of Danville, Lisa Domidion of Nicholasville, and Paula Edwards of Liberty.

Funeral services for Bobby will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May  6, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Bro. Ricky Davis with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be  Don Rinthen, Billy Broadus, Sammy Young, David Adams, Shannon Howard & Brayden Howard. Honorary bearers will be Hugh Davis, Tim Davis, Marshall Norton, Charlie Smith & Bobby              Middleton.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 Thursday at the funeral home.
