Charles Key, 56, passed away on April 9, 2025, at Bardstown Health and Rehabilitation. Born to Henry Wayne & the late Carol Brickey Key on January 4, 1969, in Tipton, Indiana. Charles was a truck driver, a hard worker, loved metal music, enjoyed playing the drums, was a fan of the color black, loved his chain necklaces & rings, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Aside from his parents, Charles is preceded in death by a brother, David Keith Gilliam; aunt, Terri Key; uncles, Richard Key, Erwin Brickey, & Goble Brickey.
Survivors include his daughters, Tabatha (Anthony) Davis, Erikka Key, and Brittany Key; sisters, Vicky Gilliam Frye & Kimberly Key; aunts & uncles, Ann Whitson, Jean Boyd, Patricia Johnson, Wanda Anderson, Betty Key, Vyone Lewis, Roberta Adams, Mitchell Guy Key, Dean Brickey, Alvin Brickey; and many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Charles wishes for cremation have been honored, and private family services will be held at Lancaster Cemetery on a later date.
