Christopher Paul (Chris) Johnson

Christopher Paul Johnson, 53, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his home. Born on Saturday, February 1, 1969 in Ohio, he was a son of Betty Burnette Johnson & the late Richard Johnson. Chris was a former press operator for Ki USA Corporation. He enjoyed spending time with friends & family, fishing, & having yard sales. Chris attended the Lancaster Church of God, and enjoyed spending time with his brother James over a plate of tamales. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard “R.J.” Johnson, a sister, Betty Araiza & a nephew, Anthony Araiza.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Johnson, of Lancaster; brothers, James Johnson, of Lancaster, Lines (Heather) Johnson, of Mississippi, Gary (Janie) Johnson, of Shepherdsville; brother-in-law, Roy (the late Betty) Araiza; nieces & nephews, Michael, Jeremy, Richie, Jessica, Peanut, Thomas, Brittney, Nicholas, Brooklyn & a special cousin, Jennifer (Jared) Scaggs.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM September 2, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the funeral home.
