Clarence Orville Jeffery, Jr.

Clarence Orville “C.O.”, “June Boy”, Jeffery, Jr. 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Sunday, May 2, 1948 in Harlan County, he was a son of the late Clarence Orville Jeffery, Sr. & the late Doris Velma Helton Thomas. Clarence was a United States Air Force veteran for which he served as an aviation mechanic. He was also an industrial engineer for Panasonic, in Danville. Clarence enjoyed playing golf, crafting golf clubs, lifting weights, riding his bike, and eating breakfast with his friends at the Red Rooster Café. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye & Cleveland Browns fan, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed singing & collecting sports memorabilia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Leon Jeffery, and his sister, Mary Magdaline Jeffery.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Jeannette Hoffer Jeffery, a son; Carlton Jeffery; daughters, Angela Jeffery & Christina (Shannon) Clark; brothers & sisters, Brenda (Harold) Clark, Eddie (the late Nancy) Jeffery, Emma (the late Tom) Thomas, Anita (Jerry) Brandon; grandchildren, Jeffrey Clark, Jennifer (Casey) Underwood, Tristan Jeffery, Carla Jeffery, John Coles IV; great-grandchildren, Trinity Clark, Jocelyn Ritchie, Maylee Ritchie, Dahlia Thomas, Remi Dailey, as well as many nieces & nephews that he loved dearly; Helen, William, Matthew, Doris, Tammy, Harold, Tom, Shaun, Chris, Jason, Chad, Justin, Rachel, and their families.
