Constance “Connie” Jean Tirey Davidson, 78, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026, at Maplewood Health & Rehabilitation. She was born on December 15, 1947, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Rev. Conley R. & LaDonna Jean Tirey. Connie graduated from Estill County High School in 1965. She went on to business school for a short time. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Conley H. Tirey; husbands Jake Osbourne (killed in the line of duty—Vietnam War), John Ritchie, and Don Lemaster; step-daughter, Joyce, and step-grandson, Dougie.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, William Davidson; daughter, Rebecca Ritchie; grandson, Michael Tyler (Morgan) Coffey; step-sons, Shane (Suzie), and James; sister, Judy (Hubert) Reece; brothers, Danny L. (Debbie) Tirey, and David P. (Evelyn) Tirey; sister-in-law, Gay Tirey, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Connie enjoyed capturing moments through photography—kissing babies, hugging others, celebrating with family, attending church, gardening, and caring for animals.
A celebration of Connie’s life here on Earth and rejoicing in the fact that she is now in Heaven, will be held from 12:00-2:00PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Rev. John Erwin officiating. The family sends a special Thank You to all of the Heritage Hospice Staff & the staff at Maplewood Health & Rehabilitation for the compassionate care given to Connie.
