Obituary

Dallie Sowder  Meadows, 87, of Paint Lick, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Landmark of Lancaster.  Born November 29, 1929 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin & Dora Morgan Sowder. Dallie was a homemaker and a member of White Lick Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Meadows,  two brothers, Loraine & Samuel Sowder and two sisters, Garnetta Hamm and her twin, Allie Sowder. Dallie is survived by a son Jackie (Karen) Meadows  of Lancaster and a daughter, Teresa Karen Meadows of Paint Lick, as well as two grandchildren, Kara Lynn Meadows of Lancaster and Jared Emerson Meadows, of Lexington. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, May  9, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Pastor David Stewart with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2—6 Sunday , May 8, 2022 at the funeral home. Friends and family may leave condolences or special memories on her tribute page at www.ramsey-young.com.
