Danny Lee Dailey

Danny Lee Dailey, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at his home. Born on Tuesday, April 7, 1953 in Lancaster, he was a son of the late W.C. & Flora Shear Dailey. Danny enjoyed fishing, boating & camping. He was a former truck driver for the Lexington Rock Quarry & was a member of Full Gospel Outreach Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Denney Dailey.

Survivors include sons, Michael (Kim) Dailey, of Lancaster, Jody (Angela) Dailey, of Lancaster, Danny “Perk” (Christy) Dailey, of Winchester, Darrell Hines (Chessie) & Robbie Hines, all of Lancaster; brothers, David (Regina) Dailey, of Preachersville, Willie (Cynthia) Dailey, of Lancaster; sister, Patricia Ann Sanford, of Stanford; grandchildren, Nathan Dailey & Andrew Dailey, Danny Dailey III, Jonathan Dailey, Ethan Dailey, Carley Dailey & Brittany Carrender, Gunner Hines, Sabrina Young, Chad Hines; Josh Buckner & Destiny Hines, whom of which he raised as his own; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Sparks officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Dailey, Andrew  Dailey, Danny Dailey III, Josh Buckner, Gunner Hines & Chad Hines. Honorary pallbearers include Ethan Dailey, Jonathan Dailey & Bill Stock.
