Danny N. Wilson

Danny N. Wilson, 86, of Danville, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his home. Born on February 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Nield Wilson & Anna Faye Dailey Wilson. Danny was a former electrician for North American Phillips Corp. & Corning Inc. for over 40 years. He was a proud National Guard & United States Army veteran. During his time in the military, he was part of the Hell on Wheels Armory Division, stationed in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he met his wife; Twila J. Boucher Wilson, whom he shared his life with until her passing in 2021. Danny was a Freemason and a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church. He had a love for singing, dancing, playing music, and listening to old radio tapes. He loved old television, specifically The Andy Griffith Show and The Three Stooges.

Survivors include a son, Steve (Heather) Wilson of Harrodsburg; daughter, Tresa (Kevin) Horn of Harrodsburg; grandchildren, Hagen (Kasey) Jackson of Oklahoma, Halee (Josh) Woods of Harrodsburg, Travis (Cindy) Wilson of Liberty; several great-grandchildren, and his beloved cat, “Sassy”.
