Debbie R. Sparks, 71 of Stanford, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 1, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Jack & Opal Kidwell Pingleton. Debbie was a homemaker, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Jean King, Gladys Dailey, Robert Pingleton, and Freda Palmer.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Fred E. Sparks of Stanford; sons, Jason (Darlene) Sparks of Stanford, Robert Sparks of McKinney, Ashley Sparks of Lancaster; brother, Wayne (Sue) Pingleton of Indiana; sisters, Alice (the late Roy) Ray & Lois (Roger) Duncan both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Jackson, Eathen (Gabbie), Seth, Holly, Jacob, Madison, Caleb & Aubrey; great-grandchildren, Blaise, Bently, Genesis, Stetson & Wrenlee; special friend, Gloria, and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Bro. Steve Meece & Bro. J.T. Prewitt officiating and burial following at Wilmot Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Eathen Rogers, Jason Sparks, Seth Sparks, Jacob Sparks, and Brandon Sparks.
