Debra Johnson

Debra Johnson, 67 of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her home. Born on Saturday, November 3, 1956 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Troy Lee & Bertie Hasty Brown. Debra was a homemaker & was a member of New Fellowship Church in Nicholasville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Brown & a sister, Carolyn Davenport.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Johnson, of Lancaster; daughters, Julie Peters, of Lancaster, Tara Hellard, of Oklahoma; brother, Troy Brown; sisters; Patricia Willhoite, of Lancaster, Robyn Carter, of Lexington; grandchildren, Cody Woolums, Kerry Hellard (Kody Hicks), Caleb (Kayla) Peters, Carl Walker, Rayna Peters, Ethan & Elijah Gifford; great-grandchildren, Kaia Hicks, Kade Hicks, Emberlyn Peters & a host of nieces & nephews. She also leaves behind her 2 special dogs, Gypsy & Gus.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2024 at New Hope Fellowship Church (1451 South Main St. Nicholasville, KY 40356) with Pastor Richard Stipe & Bro. Clay Brown officiating, & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ethan Gifford, Elijah Gifford, Cody Woolums, Kody Hicks, Caleb Peters, Justin Johnson & Carl Walker. Honorary pallbearers include Bobby Johnson, Otie Cunningham & Jesse Johnson. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday, March 9 2024 at the church.
