Donnie Lane

Donnie Lane, 83, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Tuesday, December 21,1937 in Lexington, he was a son of the late George & Georgia Morgan Lane. Donnie was a contractor for many years, as well as a farmer. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed running cattle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Lee Lane.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Phyllis Eller Lane, of Lancaster; daughter, Debi McHone, of Lancaster; brother, Ronnie Lane, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Nick White, Dathan Lane, Franki White, Ricky Boyd, Valerie Boyd; great-grandchildren, Anthony White, Chase Bottom, Kabella White, Karsen Gosser, Emma Graham, Savannah White, Greg Barnes, Malachi Simmons, Owen Lane, Eli Lane, Cole Boyd, Ethan Boyd, Drew Boyd; great-great-grandchild, Mikah White, and a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Montgomery & Bro. Greg Whitley officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nick and Anthony White, Chase Bottom, Josh Gibson, & Matt Lane. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
