Elmer Royce Hall, 85, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Baptist Health of Lexington. Born on January 2, 1941, in Madison County, he was the son of the late Smilie & Nora Chadwell Hall. Elmer was a life-long farmer, and was a member of Maple Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hall; daughter, Virginia Hall; step-son, Greg Ellis; and a nephew, Keith Greer.
Survivors include his sons, Royce R. (Kay) Hall, Travis Franklin Hall; step-son, Doug (Tammy) Ellis; sister; Lois (the late Paul) Greer all of Lancaster; step-daughter, Debbie (Jim) Ellis Brest of Irvin, Texas; niece, Debbie Turner; grandson, John Hall, as well as several step-grandchildren, great & great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until funeral service time at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Graves will be officiating services, and burial will follow at the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery.
