Ernest Glen Raines

Ernest Glen Raines, 86, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Baptist East in Louisville. He was born Sunday, April 5, 1936 to the late John & Katie Graham Raines in Garrard County. John was a factory worker for General Electric in Louisville and was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include a son, Ernest Gordon “Ernie” Raines, of Louisville; a daughter, Sandy (Sean) Woody, of Louisville; a brother, John C. Raines, of Lancaster; sisters, Bessie Falb , of Lancaster, Christine Bourne, of Louisville, Nancy Roller, of Louisville, and Debra K. Hughes, of Danville; and grandchildren, Jordan Woody, Jarrod Woody, and Patrick Raines.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Denk and Mr. Phillip Farris officiating. Burial will be Friday, July 1, 2022 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville. Visitation will be 11:00 AM — 1:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
