Eva Todd

Eva Jeanette Todd, 75, of Richmond Road in Paint Lick, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at her residence. Born February 2, 1940 in McWhorter, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh & Dorothy Reams Collier. Eva was a registered nurse and former owner/operator of Todd's Grocery in Paint Lick. She was a member of Paint Lick Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society, the Garden Club, the Wobbly Weavers Group and enjoyed her flowers, quilting and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Todd. Survivors include two daughters; Katherine L. Todd of Paint Lick, and Karen (Jackie) Meadows of Lancaster, grandchildren; James Lane, Jared & Kara Meadows, three brothers; Rodney Collier of Jackson County, Ky., Sam & Alfred Collier, both of London, Ky., and a sister; Rachel Gabbard of Ohio. Eva's request for cremation rites have been honored. A visitation and gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, January 8, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home from 5-7 PM.
