Florence L. McQueary

Florence L. McQueary, 94, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at Stanford Health & Rehabilitation. Born April 12, 1930 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Millard Winfield & Lily Holman Broughton. Florence was a retired employee for the National Casket Co. & was a member of the Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilby McQueary; brother, Chester Broughton; sisters, Alice Lois Norton, Shirley Dailey, Mary Begley; daughters, Rebekah Schnitzler & Pamela Ruth Peters.

Survivors include grandchildren, Daniel Peters, of Danville, Tonya (Roy,  Jr.) Coleman, of Stanford; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Peters, Morgan Coleman, and her son-in-law, Bill Schnitzler, of Stanford.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Mr. Jeremy Garrison officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery.
