Humphrey, Flossie Mae, 83, widow of Horace Humphrey, passed away August 27, 2022 at The Willows at Fritz Farm in Lexington. Born in Garrard County, she was the daughter of Cleo & Sallie Blaydes. Survivors include a brother, Gene Blaydes (Charlotte); a nephew, Todd Blaydes; a niece, Carrie Blaydes ( Mike Newsome); & a grand-niece, Rosalee Newsome. Other survivors include a step-granddaughter, Debbie (David) Middleton; two step-great-grandchildren; Rhonda (David) Yoder & R.D. (Bobi) Middleton; and five step-great-great-grandchildren, Michael David, Caleb, Jude, Blythe, and Magdalena. Flossie loved traveling and being with people and will be remembered as a dear friend to many, both in Lexington & Louisville. Friends & family are invited to gather at Lancaster Cemetery, 205 Crab Orchard St. Lancaster, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 29, 2022 for a graveside service officiated by Bro. Eddie Benton. Contributions are suggested to Rosemont Baptist Church, 556 Rosemont Garden, Lexington, Kentucky 40503.
