Frances Hinds

Frances A. Hinds, 75, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday ,October 14, 2025 in Danville at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born September 19, 1950 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Dillard & Thelma Lamb Broughton. Frances had been a homemaker and caretaker for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Goens, two brothers, Carlos “Butch” Broughton and Dillard Lee Broughton as well as a grandchild, Jaxon Jones. Her survivors include two sons, Ronald & Mark Goens, a daughter, Rhonda Perry, all of Lancaster, a sister, Freda (Alben “Sonny”) McGuffey of Stanford, granddaughter, Crystal (Noah Hoffman) Goens of Lancaster, and four great grandchildren, Alexis Jones, Grayson Moore, Lainey Hoffman & Miyah Hoffman. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2025 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Chris Dale. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time.
