Gary David Scott

Gary David Scott, 66, of Nicholasville, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Baptist Health of Lexington. Born on Friday, June 11, 1954 in Mt. Sterling, he was a son of the late Russell Scott & Mary Alice Howard. Gary was a former employee for Proctor & Gamble, an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan, & was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include his three daughters, Chasity Scott, & Dawn Scott Gifford, both of Lancaster, & Courtney Scott, of Georgetown; brother, Russel (Rosalind H.) Scott, Jr. of Louisville; sister, Betty (Jack) Rogers, of Nicholasville; grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, & Chase Scott, Hunter Hollingsworth, & Ryken Scott; great-grandchildren, Luke, Connor, & Evelyn Scott, & a niece, Carman Welch.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 05, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Estes officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Coers, Chase Scott, Joshua Scott, Jordan Scott, Adam Bolton, & Brian Bolton. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time on Friday, March 05, 2021 at the funeral home.
