Gary SMOKY Whittaker

Gary " Smoky" Whittaker, 61, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at his home in Garrard County. Born Monday, August 16, 1954 in Garrard County, he was the son of the late William Jr. & Minnie Long Whittaker. He was a member of Brodhead Lodge #566 and attended Drake's Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Terrie Lynn Whittaker, and daughter; Crystal Kay Whittaker. Survivors include daughters, Terry Dunn & Lindsey Whittaker, both of Lancaster, step-sons, Dwayne Hardwick of Crab Orchard, Michael Herron of Danville, grandchildren, Bailey Whittaker, Sassy Taylor, Emerie Dunn, Tristan Cox, and Alyssa Cox. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday, November 6, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Kaywood Morris officiating and a burial following in Paint Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 -8:00PM Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 8:00 PM.
