Gladys B. Woodard, 83, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her home in Madison County. Born Tuesday, May 16, 1939 in Lancaster, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late A. Z. Baker & Irene Richardson Hamm. She retired from Parker Seal Factory in Berea. Gladys enjoyed working in the yard and going to yard sales.
Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Tina “Susie” Bolton, and a brother, Virgil Baker. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (Glenn) Hester, of Richmond, and companion Wayne Wagner, of Richmond.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Hodge officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nolan Winkler Jr., Denny Lair Jr., Delmar Sewell, Joe Fichetola, and Kenny Johnson. Honorary pallbearers include “The Baker Girls”, Peggy Lair, Sherrie Johnson, Debbie Amsler, and Pam Cornelius. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM —2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
