Harvey Eason

James Harvey Eason, 81, of Garrard County, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at his home. Harvey was a son of the late Hansel & Edith Wheeler Eason and was a retired employee of Fayette Urban County Government.  He was also a Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Harvey Eason

His survivors include  his wife Peggy Ingles Eason,  a brother, Delbert Eason of Lancaster and a half brother, Dexter Knight of Nicholasville. A graveside service with military honors by the Caswell    Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion will take place 1:30 PM Friday, June 6, 2025 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation for Harvey will be from   11:00 – 1:00 at  Ramsey-Young Funeral Home on Friday. Friends and family may leave condolences or special memories on his tribute page at www.ramsey-young.com
