James C. Crusan, 81, of Parksville, formerly of Pennsylvania, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 in Danville surrounded by loved ones. Born on Friday, March 27, 1942 in Fairfield Township, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Charles Fredrick & Georgia Virginia Lear Crusan. James was a lifelong farmer, a steelworker by trade, and a member of the United States Airforce. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 brothers & 3 sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Ida June Frain Crusan, of Parksville; son, Timothy J. (Starlett) Crusan, of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania; daughters, Michelle (the late Robert) Haase, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Sandra (James) Lichtenfels, of Bolivar, Pennsylvania, Angela (David) McKinney, of Parksville; 2 siblings, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren & a special dog, “Sully”.
