James Warren Rhodus

James Warren Rhodus, 71, of Paint Lick, passed away  Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home.  Born November 2, 1950 in Garrard County, Jim was the son of James Harold & Norma Jean Harold Rhodus. He was self employed and had been the owner of the Berea Flea Market, an avid collector of John Wayne memorabilia, was a member of Leavel Green  Christian Church and was truly in his element when he was outdoors, hunting an fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Caudill Elam.

Jim leaves behind his wife  Dorethia Harp Rhodus,  two sons, Kevin Rhodus of Lancaster, Bobby Gene Rhodus of Ohio, two daughters,   Billie (Bobby) Sanders of Berea, Tanangiela (Chris) Fuson of Rockholds, Kentucky, a sister, Kathy (Richard) Ginn of Ohio, 8 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2022 at Leavel Green Christian Church by Rev. Harvie Spry. Visitation will be from 12 Noon Friday until 2:00 PM at the church. After services, Jim’s wishes for cremation rites will take place. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Rhodus, Chris Fuson, Austin Fuson & Eddie Garrison.
