Jane May

Jane Adkison May, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Shannon & Evaree Snyder Adkison. A 1952 graduate of Lancaster High School and Lafayette Vocational School. She was employed by American Greetings Corporation in Danville for 23 years. She was a member of Indian Hill Christian Church.

Aside from her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a sister, Coleen Carrier; nephews, Bill Carrier (Rita) & Woody Carrier; and an infant sister, Ethel. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Dwight May, and nephews; Jerry (Debbie) Carrier and Curt (Jeanne) Carrier.

Funeral service is 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Odis Clark officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Curt Carrier, Jerry Carrier, Johnny Snyder, Royce Bailey, Holton Howard, and Johnny Coleman. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the funeral home.
