Jeremy Austin Saylor

Jeremy Austin Saylor, 21 of Garrard County, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at his home. Born on July 16, 2004, he was a son of Ronnie Saylor & Nancy Scott Mackey. Jeremy had his own lawn mowing business and was looking forward to starting his career as a lineman. He had most recently earned his CDL’s and passed his Lineman’s Certification. He loved to mow, ride dirtbikes, loved kids, animals and people. He was an active member of the Asphalt Assassins car club.

Survivors include his parents, Ronnie (Lee Napier) Saylor & Nancy (John) Mackey, both of Lancaster; maternal grandparents, Vyone (Brad) Lewis of Berea, Elwood Scott of Lancaster; paternal grandparents,  Dorthy (the late Dillard) Saylor of Lancaster; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret (the late Clyde) Scott of Lancaster; brothers, Scott Andrew Saylor & Bo Mackey, both of Lancaster; uncles Bryan (Amanda) Saylor & Wayne Saylor, both of Lancaster, and an aunt  Becky (Matt) Lane of Lancaster.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025,  at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Hodge officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wayne Saylor, Bryan Saylor, Donnie Phillips, Scott Saylor, Jacob Cockerham, and Walker Fayne. Honorary pallbearers include Ramsey Peek, Dylan Isaacs, and the members of the Asphalt Assassins.
