Jerry Roy Odum, 83, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 at his home. Born August 17, 1942 in Pell City, Alabama, he was a son of the late Jerry L. Odum & Thelma Pike. He was a retired truck driver, having put over 40 years on the road, an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, attended Beech Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing , swimming and telling big tales and storytelling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Eugene Pike.
His survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Prichard Odum, four sons, Jerry L (Stacy) Odum of Southside, Alabama, Matthew S. (Alyssa) Prichard of Wharton, West Virginia, James Dean (Natasha) Odum of Lancaster, Barry Rodgers of Westover, Alabama, two daughters, Rebecca Ann Odum of Lexington and Lisa Rodgers of Georgia. He is survived by one brother, Eddie Pike of Moody, Alabama, a very close friend Richard Stinnett, and last but not least, his grandchildren, Amber Prichard, Thomas Blake Prichard, Austin Matthew Prichard, Alyssa Odum, Brayden Odum, Carlena Prichard, Randi Ann Prichard, as well as six great grandchildren.
