Jimmy Joe Helton, 31, of Cartersville, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 in Clay City, Kentucky. Born Friday, September 28, 1990 in Richmond, he was a son of Vickie Helton & the late Dallas Richard Helton. Jimmy was a cattle farmer, factory worker, and was a member of Harmon’s Lick Church of God. In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by brothers, Steven Lee Jones, Brandon Scott Helton; grandmother, Reva Neal.
Survivors include a son, Richard James Helton, of Madison County, whom he loved with all of his heart; mother, Vickie Helton, of Powell County; brother, Cody (Brittany) Helton, of Cartersville; grandparents, Dallas & Audrey Helton, of Cartersville, aunts, Melissa (Larry) Nicely, of Cartersville, Lisa Woods, Tammy Berryman, Libby Berryman, all of Powell County; cousins, Dallas & Dalton Nicely, of Cartersville, Angel Woods, Steven Robinson, Brandon Napier, Shawn Napier, Misty Napier, Dustin Hatton, Dalton Hatton; special niece & nephews, Kenzie Jones, Braxton James Helton, Rian Jones, and a special friend Haley Hickle. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Helton Family Cemetery with Bro. Stevie Robinson officiating. Pallbearers include Stevie Robinson, Brandon Napier, Shawn Napier, Dustin Hatton, Dalton Hatton, & Donnie Everman.
