Joetta Collier

Joetta Collier, 77, of Garrard County, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Tuesday, August 22, 1944 in Garrard County. She was a daughter of the late Allen & Lealer Murphy Matthews. She was a farmer, housekeeper, and sat with the elderly. Joetta was a member of the Dix River Pentecostal Church and loved her cats.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters. Survivors include a brother, Donald Matthews, of Lancaster, a sister, Mary (the late Ben) Medley, of Harrodsburg, and several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 10, 2022 at Lancaster Cemetery with Bro. Darrell Estes officiating and burial to follow.
