Joseph C. Henry

Joseph C. Henry, 72, of Lancaster, passed away  Monday, August 5, 2024 at his home. Born on Friday, September 14, 1951 in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Robert & Mary Belle Yocum Henry. Joseph was a life-long farmer, who enjoyed watching westerns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ballard Henry.

Survivors include his son, Anthony “Tony” (Marcia) Henry, of McKinney; daughters, Tammy Diels, Melissa (Greg) Rader, both of Lancaster, Stephanie Renee Baker, of Nicholasville; sister, Judy Ballard, of McKinney; grandchildren, Joseph and Jonathan Walker, Patricia, Katie, Wesley, and Krista Rader; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Watkins, Mikayla Harris, Jozzlin, Allayah, Haven, and Zayden Walker, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved dog, Lil’ Bit.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 9, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robert Watkins, Aaron Woosley, Chris Harris, Jeff Henry, and Scott Diels. Honorary pallbearers include Gunnar Watkins, Greg Rader, Anthony “Tony” Henry, and Kenny Brandenburger.
