Josh Day, of Paint Lick, Kentucky, passed away suddenly on August 1, 2026.
Born on April 7, 1978, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, Josh was the son of Christine Landeto Day and Randall Day. Brother to Brad (Nikki) and a proud uncle to Emma and Josie. In recent years, Josh shared his life with his love, Christine Card, and her children, Callahan, Teegan, Delaney, and Shea, whom he loved as his own.
Josh was raised in Gresham, Wisconsin, and moved with his family to Snowmass, Colorado. Throughout his life, he wore many hats, working in ranching, property management, dirt work, and, most recently, irrigation and landscaping. While he was known for his incredible work ethic and practical skills, those who knew him best understood that his greatest strength was the depth of his knowledge and brilliant mind.
Josh had a multitude of passions but nothing meant more to him than his family, including his aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He also had a remarkable gift for friendship. Once you became Josh’s friend, you were a friend for life. He was fiercely loyal, always willing to lend a helping hand, and share a laugh. His genuine heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Plans for a memorial will be announced at a later date.
