Joy Douglas

Joy Douglas, 56, of Crab Orchard, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on Tuesday, June 25, 1968, she was a daughter of Laura Mae Hicks & the late Dale Hicks. Joy was a homemaker. She enjoyed hummingbirds and coloring, and loved being a mother and grandmother. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Douglas, a daughter, Misti Gayle Douglas, and a sister, Shari Hicks.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Douglas, of Crab Orchard, her mother, Laura Mae Hicks, of Lancaster; son, William Aaron (Danielle) Douglas, of Crab Orchard; daughter, Rebekah Mae Lynn (Joshua) Neely, of Middletown, Ohio; brother, Nathan (Jenny) Hicks, of Lancaster; sister, Kim Bunch, of Stanford; grandchildren, Jonaya Douglas, and Paisley & Destiny Neely.
