Juanita Bolton

Juanita Bolton, 88 of Lancaster, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home. Born Tuesday, October 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joe & Emma Crews Edwards. She was a former employee at Whirlpool for many years and was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church. Juanita enjoyed quilting, flower gardening & canning. She was also a member of the Woman’s Missionary Union.

Survivors include her husband of more than 60 years, Hollis Bolton; daughters, Debra (the late John) Freeman, of Danville, Holly Kay (Danny) True, of Frankfort, Betty Bolton, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Christopher & Angela Freeman, and one great-grandchild, Eden Mebrahtu.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Best officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Christopher Freeman, Harold King, Billy King, Bill Morrow, James Werkmeister & Walt Browning. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the funeral home.
