Judith Gayle (Judi) Ledford Sparks

Judith Gayle “Judi” Ledford Sparks, 76 of Paint Lick, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Terrace in Berea. Born January 3, 1948 in Madison County to the late Dan Welch & LaVerne Rhodus Ledford. She was a retired state employee living in Lexington for many years. She was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Judi was preceded in death by a nephew, James Daniel Ledford.

Survivors include her brother Dan Ward (Janet) Ledford, of Lancaster; nephews, Billy Keith (Kristie) Long, John Scott Long, of Lancaster, and two great-nieces, Samantha Jade and Sarah Kaylee Long, both of Danville. She is loved by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2024 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Logan Zipp and special friend Susan Warren officiating with burial following at Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Keith Long, Scott Long, Ryan Hunt, Jerry Rhodus, Steve Rhodus and Roger Hatfield. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the funeral home.
