June Lynn

Emily June Lynn, 93, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born Saturday, November 29, 1930 in McKinney, Kentucky, she was a daughter to the late Gene & Eva Gooch Milburn. June was a retired bookkeeper for the Christian Appalachian Project. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Lynn; daughter, Susan Leanna Gambrel, and a granddaughter, Nicole Wardrip.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Wardrip, of Lancaster; son-in-law, Lonnie Gambrel, of Lancaster; sister, Judy Ziegert, of Mason, Ohio; grandchildren, Leanna (Tim) Miller, and Brandi Bramblett, all of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Spencer Isaacs, Emily Miller, Riley Miller, Olivia Wardrip, Rowan Wardrip, great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon Isaacs, Kinleigh Isaacs, and Lainey June Cobb, as well as a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. J.T. Prewitt officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include David East, Brian Naylor, Brent Anderson, Riley Miller, Spencer Isaacs, and Rowan Wardrip. Honorary pallbearers include Andita Ruiz. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the funeral home.
