Kay (Ray) Vinson

Kay Vinson, 71, of Saltillo, Mississippi, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Born on November 22, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Bill & Betty Stevens Ray. Kay was a former employee for the National Casket Factory in Lancaster, Kentucky. In later years, she owned and operated her business “Scrubs Elite”, out of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Vinson of Saltillo, Mississippi; sons, Adam Ray Vinson, and Evan Kent Vinson, both of Tupelo, Mississippi; sister, Debbie (Paul) Rigsby of Lancaster, Kentucky, and her grandchildren, Braxton & Landan Vinson.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until funeral service time at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Horn officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bobby Hardwick, Bruce Rigsby, Jeff Daly, Jimmy Moberly, Joe Montgomery, Tim Nunemaker, and Billy Lanham.
