Laura Mae Hicks

Laura Mae Hicks, 76, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 31, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Brach Densbury & Lena Helton. Laura was a homemaker, and loved her friends & family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Quention Dale Hicks; daughters, Joy Douglas and Shari Dale Hicks; grandchildren, Timothy Dale Douglas, and Misty Douglas.

Survivors include her son, Nathan (Jenny) Hicks of Lancaster, daughter, Kim Hicks of Stanford, sisters, Brenda Williams & Mary Jane; brother-in-law, Ronnie Douglas; grandchildren, Nikki Hicks (Adam Vanhook), Aaron Douglas, Rebekah Douglas, Nikki Hicks, Chris Parks, Tina Parks, Zach Hicks, Jennifer Johnson, Dakota Hicks, Branson (Angel) Pruett, Ashley, Renee, Jamie, Katie, Chase Hicks, Walker Bunch, and many great-grandchildren.
