Lisa Ann Preston

          Lisa Ann Preston, 60, passed away on December 21st 2025 at home surrounding by her family who loved her dearly after a long illness. Born on October 30, 1965 in Danville she was the daughter of Holman Jr. & Betty (Gourley) Preston of Lancaster. Lisa was preceded in death by her Paternal  grandparents Holman Sr and Dora Preston of Garrard County, and Maternal grandparents George and Myrtle Gourley of Lincoln Co.

         Lisa played on the Garrard County Lady Lions basketball team. Upon graduation from Garrard Co High School in 1983 she worked at Garrard County School Board, Walmart in Danville, KY., Hargett Construction, Wabash International Paper Co, and most recently Clark Manufacturing of Lexington, Ky. Lisa was a member of Forks Of Dix River Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her niece's, nephews, and great niece’s. 

        Survivors included her parents Holman and Betty Preston of Lancaster, Ky.: Two Brothers Terry Preston of Lancaster,  Tim (Rebecca) Preston of Lancaster, Niece Stacey Preston of Lancaster, Nephews Michael Preston of Lancaster, Cole Preston of Vacaville, California, Great Nieces Emma Preston of Lancaster, Wendy Elizabeth Preston of Avondale, Arizona, as well as a host of aunt’s, uncles, and cousins. 

        Visitation for Lisa will be held from 11:00 A.M. until Funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 27, 2025 at The Ramsey - Young Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning and Bro. Steve Horn and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Terry Preston, Tim Preston, Stacey Preston, Emma Preston, Michael Preston, Cole Preston, Wendy Preston. Honorary pallbearers will be all the cousins.
