Marjorie Shangraw, 61, of Nicholasville, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born on June 30, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Dave Rawlings and Joyce Patterson Bryan. Marjorie was a waitress for many years for multiple different establishments. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, always loved a good meal, liked tending to her houseplants, and always kept a clean and tidy home. Marjorie brought laughter to every occasion, and enjoyed playing BINGO and going thrift shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Shangraw, and three sisters, Patty Harris, Christy Bryan, and Robin Bryan.
Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Shangraw of Nicholasville, and Lisa (Dan) Leavell of Lancaster; brother, Jeff Rawlings of Harrodsburg; sisters, Janice Spears of Perryville, and JoAnn McCoy of Harrodsburg; grandchildren, Rylan (Jazzmyne) Shangraw, Gavin Baker, Nylah Leavell & Draydan Leavell, and one great-grandson, Romari Shangraw.
