Martha Maggard

Martha Maggard, 62, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born Friday, July 22, 1960 in Letcher County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie R. & Reva Shell Maggard. Martha was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers & sisters, James C., Bobby D., Ritter A., Barbara L., Henry, John C., & Hubert “Duck” Maggard.

Survivors include brothers & sisters, George Maggard, Fred Maggard, Jessie Maggard (Sharon Thompson), Genevieve (Jeff) Trent, all of Lancaster, as well as 56 nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Bryan Watts officiating & burial following at Dix River Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jessie Maggard, Fred Maggard, Jeff Trent, Steven Maggard, Bill Cress & Harley Jones. Honorary pallbearers include Debra Hatcher, Homer Day, Jr., Michael Denny & Sharon Thompson. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
